Manuelita Cherizard

Chair

Manuelita is an experienced HR Professional with over 25 years of leadership experience across private and public sector, not for profit, cultural, education, financial services and media organizations.  She is currently the CHRO of the Royal Ontario Museum where she partners closely with the CEO, executive team and the Board to align talent, labour strategy and workforce planning with organizational purpose and long-term sustainability. Additionally, she has served in multiple non-profit Board leadership roles, including Vice-Chair, Board Director and Chair of Nominations Committee.  She is fluently bilingual in English and French and brings a value-driven approach to leadership and governance.  She is the Chairperson of the Not-for-Profit Leadership Society.

Board of Directors

The NPLS operates under a volunteer Board of Directors comprising of members from the private and public sectors, and is guided by an Advisory Committee of non-profit leaders.
