Dr. Iwo Effiong

Director

Dr. Effiong is a Physician-trained public health leader driving health system change at a national scale.  Currently, she is the Executive Director of Canadian Association of Community Health Centres.  She brings a combination of clinical training (MBBS), public health expertise (MPH), and project management (PMP) to health system challenges, translating evidence into actionable strategies, building partnerships, and advancing health equity for underserved populations.

Board of Directors

The NPLS operates under a volunteer Board of Directors comprising of members from the private and public sectors, and is guided by an Advisory Committee of non-profit leaders.
